Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto. His father and two of his uncles are musicians. His parents divorced when he had 5 years old. He was raised by his mother in a prosper neighborhood of Toronto. Drake speaking of his mother:
“She found us a half of a house we could live in. The other people had the top half, we had the bottom half”.
At the age of 24, Drake commented on his early life by saying:
"I've seen a lot, man. I've seen a lot of life, put it that way. I've been with the most blessed kids in the world. I've been with people whose life is right at the bottom of the barrel. I was on a TV show, I went to art school, I went to hood schools. I've lived. I've lived a full 24 years, man".
At the age of 15, Drake met an agent, the father of a high school friend. The agent found Drake a role on the Canadian TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation as Jimmy Brooks. His career really start when he put some mixtapes on his MySpace count which has known a lot of success.
Today drake is one of the most famous RnB and Hip Hop singer, producer and actor. His fortune is approximately estimated at 75M $. His songs are characterized by soft melody and emotional lyrics and he is influenced by singers like Jay-z, Aaliyah, Nelly or Will Smith.
Drake is also known as the global ambassador of the NBA franchise of Toronto: the raptors. He's one of the most famous ambassador of an NBA franchise. There is a part of the arena of the raptors dedicated to him: he can offer some guest tickets to whoever he wants.
"Nothing Was the Same" is the third studio album by Canadian recording artist Drake. It was released on September 24, 2013 by his label OVO sound. There's a lot of guest appearance in this album like 2Chainz, Big sean, Jhené Aiko and even Jay-Z who's one of the best producer ever !
In my opinion, this album was one of the best Hip-Hop album released in the last 10 years.
Drake sing smooth sound like "from time" with Jhené Aiko. This soundtrack is pretty amazing, Jhené Aiko voice complete drake one, and it makes the music so relaxing. The simplicity of the piano, Jhene Aiko’s voice, it’s just so honest and so simple yet communicates such complex emotions all at once. It's a must have on your Ipod (check it in the homepage). But it's not the only exemple, "pound cake" with jay-z is pretty good too ! This album got way too much classics like "started from the bottom", "Worst behaviour" or "All me".
When you listen drake music you're like : 'Damn, i miss my girlfriend !", even if you're an ugly single guy ! And i still don't know how this n*gga does that !
"If you reading this it's too late" is a mixtape released in 13 february, 2015. it's the first diamond disc of 2015, and it's not even a studio album ! it's just a mixtape. a mixtape which was free for a short time thanks to drake who want to gave it for free. What a good guy ! But his label cash money wasn't agree. they probably want more cash and money (f*cking assh*le). Now the mixtape is available on itune and is a best-seller ! It's a perfect mixtape ! All the song are good, and some are more than good, they're almost perfect ! Good lyrics, catchy chorus, Drake flow... It's so f*cking amazing. And it's not only my opinion : the whole song are on the Hip-Hop/RnB billboard 50. Only drake can do crazy shit like that ! He released 2 clip from this mixtape : "Energy" and "Hotline bling"
In the clip Hotline bling, Drake showed that he is not only a good rapper.
