Les is more is the 3rd album of ryan leslie, an american singer and songwriter. It was released on October 22, 2012.
The title "Les is more" came from his nickname R. Les, and from the phrase from the Robert Browning poem "Andrea del Sarto, also called 'The Faultless Painter'" published in 1855.
In this album, there's a guest appareance with fabulous another american rapper.
This album lasts 51 minute for the american version, and lasts 1hour in the european version because of 2 special songs "Swiss Francs" and "Winning".
R less strenghts is his variety of genres : soul, R&B, hip hop or gospel... Nothing can stop his creativity. He also like to make his own video, like the music video from the single " How it was supposed to be" which was Leslie's directorial debut.
He is a selfmade man : he wrote, produced, and performed every song on his album.
He said in some interviews that Stevie wonders is one of his biggest influence. He also like artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Quincy Jones, The Beatles...
Ryan Leslie is present on twitter, myspace and youtube wich increases his fanbase.
On his youtube channel, he post video about his relations with his fan and where he gave free Ipods, and backstage passes for his concert.
He come back next year with the album MZRT (reference to his previous album "Black Mozart")
Funny fact : In october 2010, Ryan leslie lost his laptop and offer 1Millions dollars for the one who return his due, because there was some new tracks on it. Armin Augstein, who runs a garare near cologne, return the laptop to Ryan but without the song, so Ryan leslie refuse to give him the million dollars. Armin still was granted with the millions dollars rewards + 180k dollars after a lawsuit in 2012. Bad luck Mr Leslie
